Golf Clubs
One of the important issues that we discussed is the size and
availability of the golf clubs for children. In order to help
generate interest in the game with young children, lighter weight
plastic clubs and balls can be used. These are particularly
good for using in confined spaces such as schools and play areas.
When individuals can demonstrate a certain level of competence
and express their serious interest in the game they can move
forward and start using proper golf clubs and golf balls. When
this stage is reached they would be more suited to continuing
their practice on a golf driving range.
The idea of sponsorship from one or more of the larger companies
in China is an excellent way to provide the necessary golf club
equipment for children. As you know, we would be very pleased
to assist with such discussions.
General
In general, our thoughts are to try and establish in Hangzhou
an “IGA China Junior Golf Club” or “IGA China Children’s Golf
Club” with your approval and assistance.
